Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Aleatoric Data services ("Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

2. Service Description

Aleatoric Data provides managed blockchain data feeds including JSON-RPC, gRPC, Server-Sent Events, and WebSocket connections to supported blockchain networks. Services are provided on a subscription basis with tiered access levels.

3. API Keys and Access

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API keys. You must not share, publish, or embed API keys in client-side code. Aleatoric reserves the right to revoke keys that are found to be compromised or misused.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Exceed rate limits or attempt to circumvent access controls
  • Redistribute raw feed data to third parties without authorization
  • Use the Services for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, probe, or attack the infrastructure
  • Resell access to the Services without a reseller agreement

5. Service Level

Uptime and latency targets are described in the Service Level Agreement. Credits for downtime are available to Quant tier subscribers as described therein.

6. Billing and Payment

Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe. You authorize recurring charges at the rate specified for your selected plan. Plan changes take effect at the next billing cycle. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods.

7. Data Accuracy

Aleatoric Data relays data from upstream blockchain networks. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of data beyond what is provided by the source network. Data feeds reflect the state of the connected validator node.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aleatoric Systems shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services, including but not limited to trading losses, lost profits, or data loss.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate the subscription at any time. Aleatoric reserves the right to suspend or terminate access immediately for violations of these Terms. Upon termination, API keys are revoked and access ceases.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users.
